SYNOPSIS

An astronaut is tasked with exploring and charting deep space; lost and alone in the depths of the void, strange yet beautiful things begin to happen.
A short film and immersive experience, Aeternum invites viewers to witness the astronaut’s journey and experience the mysterious phenomenon for themselves.

An entirely CG short film. Direction, Animation, Lookdev, Lighting, Compositing.
THE INSTALLATION

A planned physical immersive experience, cancelled by COVID-19.
TOUCHDESIGNER INTERACTION
—
Through a Kinect, the system translates the viewer’s positional data within the installation to metaball in reach of the particle field via a calculated angle of position; Allowing the viewer to interact with the experience in real-time.
